Well, we were up at Whistler today and we stopped off at Green Lake to see what condition the ice was in, Well ..... I think our days on the ice are over for this year. There was open water at the usual spots like the culvert, the area around that big house next to the highway, and Nicholas North is also open water. There was also about 8' to 10' of water around the edges so you would have to figure out a way to get out there........ if you where Brave.... stupid enough to go on it. Once we got to the top of Whistler and we where able to see the lake from up there you could see that the ice was actually wet and looked more like slush than water and actually looked like the name says,"green".
