Tides should be good next weekend both Sat.& Sun afternoon after 1:00pm.I'm hoping to head out if winds(anything south is good) and weather are right.
Anyone else? What day is better?

I might be interested... Sunday should be better for me but I think it's dependent on the weather.

Still calling for rain Sunday.

I say lets plan for Saturday for now. I'm not sure I want to be out there in the rain.

We park right at the Dyke at the end of 72nd. If you set your GPS for Boundry Bay airport that will get you almost there. Just stay on 72nd instead of turning in to the airport. Bring a tow rope because we walk about 1/4 mile out. Bring plastic or a tarp to lay your stuff on. Bring something clean and dry to change in to for the ride home. Cars have been broken in to before there !

You and I can probably meet up or at least leave at the same time so we meet at the parking lot.

Ok, What time where you planning on leaving? I also have a tarp big enough for everyone It's the only one I have but its about 20'x30' might be too big though, could be a pain in the a$$ to fold up when we're done. Needing clean clothes is not a good sign  But what the hell I have to do it at least once and I have a pressure washer :D

See you tomorrow

Still calling for se winds in the afternoon.I'm busy in the morning till about 11:00 if theres wind I'll be heading out around 12:00.

I find some old raingear keeps me fairly dry.

I tried to insert a map but it's not working for me.

Just go through the tunnel and head towards the ferries, turn left on Ladner Trunk Road turn right on 72nd st. ,go all the way on 72nd to the dyke.

I'll head out about noon as well.

Too much tarp can be a problem space wise as well. You haul your days gear out in your buggy.

A copule of large garbage bags do the job.

Grant,Ken(Br),and I made it out yesterday. We got in a couple of hours of wet buggying in light winds 5 to 7 knots, with 9-10m kites

We found a dry sandbar to set up on,There doesn't seem to be as many sandbars as usual. It seems to be flatter than usual with a thin layer of water cover.I think as the low tides get longer and it gets a bit warmer it should get better. ;)

I'm willing to give it another go some time later in April ,hopefully with some stronger winds.
